This year’s focus is on women and girls at the forefront of sustainable development, in order to promote gender equality and the importance of empowering women and girls all over the world. The campaign #SheisWe shows that when women are empowered, protected, trusted and invested in, there are benefits for all of us.
PharmAccess’ will host the panel together with the Ministry of foreign affairs, a long-standing and committed partner to development. The session is named: ‘’technologies that transform healthcare and empower people’’ and will explore technologies developed by Philips and PharmAccess, as well as some of the most pressing issues in the healthcare sector in sub-Saharan Africa that require new solutions. Finally, the panel will debate if technologies that exist have been developed to meet the needs of women appropriately.
