Kwara State takes leap towards Universal Health Coverage
Health Insurance Fund and Hygeia Community Health Care signed an agreement to scale up the Kwara State Community Health Insurance Program to cover the entire state.

The ambition of the Kwara State Government is to have at least 600,000 people enrolled in the program by the end of 2018. To support this ambition, the government has set aside a 34 million euro injection into the health insurance scheme for premium subsidies and to renovate health facilities throughout the state.
