The use of your personal data by PharmAccess only takes place with your consent, or when you share data voluntarily with us by contacting us.

PharmAccess collects data about you when you:

The cookies collected by PharmAccess are in no way used to identify visitors. PharmAccess does not make use of any type of tracking, advertising or targeting cookies. Via the ‘Privacy Settings’ button on the website, you can choose which cookies you wish to accept or block. Please note that when you open a PharmAccess page including a YouTube video, a cookie will be placed (even though you blocked all cookies) to make sure YouTube will not (by default) set a tracking cookie, enabling the ‘Privacy-enhanced mode’. PharmAccess takes the security of your personal data very seriously and has taken adequate technical and organizational measures to protect the collected data from accidental and unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure of, or access to personal data.
Third Party Usage
We only share data with third-party service providers if that is strictly necessary for us in order to carry out our services towards you. We may use the third-party service providers named below to process and store your data:
- MailChimp, which we use to manage our communications. Read their privacy policy here.
- Cobytes, which hosts this website. Read their privacy policy here.
- The Sassy Social Share plugin is used to enable visitors to share PharmAccess content through social media buttons such as Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. Sassy Social Share does not save any cookies in your browser when you visit the website. Read their privacy policy here.
- The use of providers offering cookie services, as described in this statement.
PharmAccess has signed Data Processing Agreements with its third-party service providers to govern such processing and to ensure that the personal data concerned is protected and all GDPR requirements are met. PharmAccess will not share your personal information with any other third-party other than those mentioned in this statement or unless we have your permission or the law requires PharmAccess to do so.
Websites Third Parties
PharmAccess’ website may contain links to other websites, such as news sites, social media, international organizations, other non-governmental organizations or other relevant entities. This Privacy Statement does not apply to any hyperlinks or content of third-party websites shown on or linked to our website. PharmAccess does not monitor or control the information collection or privacy practices of these or any other third parties and is therefore not responsible for the content, the accuracy, completeness, usefulness of information or the products or services offered by third party websites.
Data Retention
PharmAccess does not retain your personal data any longer than necessary or as prescribed by law. You may unsubscribe from PharmAccess communications at any given time by clicking on the “unsubscribe” button or by sending such request by email to info@pharmaccess.org. After ending our newsletter subscription, your personal data will be deleted from our communication list.
Your Rights
PharmAccess gladly informs you of your rights regarding your personal data:
- Right to obtain access to personal data, right to rectification and right of erasure;
- Right to object to the collection of personal data;
- Right to data portability;
- Right to limitation of data processing;
- Right to lodge a complaint (with the Dutch independent supervisory authority – Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
